The Smith and Wesson M&P 15 Sport II chambered in 5.56 NATO / 223 REM is the rock solid, quintessential modern sporting rifle. This rugged and reliable AR15 has a 16” threaded 4140 steel barrel with a 1:9 twist that is perfect for the most common and affordable sporting ammunition.
This direct impingement rifle uses a carbine length gas system for reliable performance.
The Smith And Wesson M&P 15 Sport II features an adjustable A2 front post sight with a Magpul MBUS folding rear sight and is ready for your choice of red dot optic or rifle scope.
This affordable AR does not skip on quality with details like a rounded, forged integral trigger guard that is usable with gloved hands and a slightly flared magwell to aid magazine reloads.
Standard features include a 6-position collapsible stock, front and rear sling mounts, A2 flash hider, forward assist and dust cover. The Sport II is built for durability with an Armornite barrel finish, chromed firing pin, and chrome lined bolt carrier group with a phosphate finish.
